Thoughts of the day

So, exams are closing in and I think I should do OK this time. I’m kinda getting sick of studying all day long… I gave up an hour ago or so and started gathering the script and events of Earthbound for the port to our SVO game engine. Still got a looooong way to go but it’s a start.

What’s up with Facebook group invites by the way? I invited some people to the “Ram Sabam” group and got this message “The following people won’t get your invitation straight away, but they will soon.” What is soon in their opinion? Weird, I tell you! Anyways, do join the group and sign their petition, Sabam is somewhat like BREIN in Holland and the RIAA in the US.

I really need to get new guitar strings, I haven’t played guitar in almost a week :( that’s something for Thursday after the exam.

You know what I found out recently, with the neighbors a bit down the street? They’ve got a baby who’s about 10 months old or so and man, whenever I see her I can’t stop smiling o.o this usually happens all the time when I see a baby. It’s weird to see how they influence me so much, guess their joy of being a baby and being careless transfers a bit to me. Whenever I’m around a kid I’m in a happy mood :)

But enough ranting, I’ma go watch another episode of “The Universe”.

Publicity Fail

Annelore Sempels… candidate of Miss Vlaams-Brabant. Remember the police guy Fernand Koekelberg who forced Humo to remove their magazine because there was a -in Koekelberg’s opinion- offensive photo printed in the Humo. The result was exactly the opposite of what Koekelberg wanted to achieve, instead of having only the humo readers who take a look at “Gat van de wereld” see him in the photoshopped photo now the entire country went to buy Humo because they wanted to see the controversial image.

Moral of the story: Don’t complain about something futile like that, the attention will only have the opposite result of what you want.

Miss Sempels appears to have lived under a rock the past couple of months because she’s did the same just a few days ago. The result? Instead of just a handful of people seeing her controversial “sexy” photos half of Flanders will go buy TV-blad to check it out.

Boohoo, not even that interesting… In my opinion she isn’t even pretty. But oh well, let’s hope other people will get the point and stop being stupid about this. In the end, the people always win, you can always find the photos on the internet and good luck to the persons that don’t want them to be there because once something’s on the internet, it will never leave it…ever.

P-Magazine presents: P-camping

When they first announced there was going to be a camping for Marktrock (Leuven) they were aiming for around 1000 people. There were 60 registrants and only 15 showed up >_>;; pretty boring knowing I was there with FestiCrew who had to keep things in order around the camping. Since only a handful of people showed up we didn’t do anything really.. There just wasn’t anything to do when there’s more trash cans than tents on the field..

Well, I’m not going to stay and write a whole review since I’ve been up for over 28 hours now, had to stay up at night and it was freezing :| so I went ahead and made a (stupid) photoshop image to make it warmer, I’ll post it in the PS section soonish.

In the end, earning some money for it and the P-Magazine guy said I could get his tent (aka the tent of Louis Tobback but the guy just posed for one photo and then left never to return to the camping again) because he didn’t need it, so yay now I have a tent of my own ^^
